Rates

-Diagnostic Assessment: $300 per hour (53-minutes)

-Individual Therapy: $225 per hour (53-minutes)

Because insurance requires documentation of medical necessity, your first session will include a Diagnostic Assessment. (Think of it as a way for me to get to know you and your goals, so we can make the rest of our work together as meaningful as possible.)

If you’d prefer not to have a diagnosis on file with your insurance, out-of-pocket payment is also an option.

Fees are due at time of appointment or invoice. I accept credit card, debit card, HSA card, check, and exact-pay cash. A fee of $30 will be assessed for checks that are returned for insufficient funds.

Late Cancellation/No-Show Policy

Please provide a 24 hour notice if you need to cancel your appointment. If your appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, or is missed a $100 fee will be charged for the first occurrence and the full session fee of $225 will be charged for every subsequent occurrence. The fee will need to be paid before your next appointment.

Appointments where you arrive 15 minutes or more past the scheduled appointment time will automatically be cancelled and will be considered a missed/no-show appointment. Please note that insurance does not cover late cancellation/no-show fees since no service is provided.

Insurances Accepted

I am currently in network with:

-BCBS ND

-Sanford Health (Starting mid April 2026)

-In the process of adding other insurances to be in-network

To help avoid any surprises, please confirm your insurance benefits and coverage before your first session.

I am considered Out-of-Network with any insurance that is not listed above. If you’d like, I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. While most insurance plans cover much of the cost, you’ll be responsible for paying the full session fee at the time of service. Please check with your insurance.

No Surprises Act (Good Faith Notice)

Effective Jan 1st, 2022, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the No Surprises Act, healthcare providers must give clients who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for services, including psychotherapy.

You can request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services or at any time during treatment.

If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above your estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges.
